We are a family-owned and operated pharmacy and general store located in the central Massachusetts town of Westminster. With a population of approximately 7100, Westminster is a rural and historic place with close-knit neighborhoods in a country setting. We established our web site, Natural Drugstore, to extend our small town values, expertise and service to the community online. It is our goal to provide you with quality information, natural products, and the highest possible level of service.
Our pharmacists at naturaldrugstore.com want to assist you in recommending proven formulas that have demonstrated excellent results. You will not find thousands of products in our practice. Only remedies that we have experience with and that we guarantee to work. Each product that we have used and tested is considered by our staff to be the best in its class. Our pledge to you- If you don't like a product for any reason, return it for a full refund.
Native Produce
As odd as it may sound you won't find better quality produce anywhere. We go to the market every morning and buy only what meets our high standards. Native asparagus, corn and tomatoes to name a few. For those of you who have tried it, you know the quality is superb. For those of you who haven't, please let this be your invitation to experience the New England Harvest at its peak!
Joseph Serio, the founder of Serio's Market on State Street in Northampton, started trading from a horse drawn wagon. He later bought this truck for transporting produce around the city. The photo was taken in the early 1920's.

In case you were wondering ... that's my grandfather pictured above. A farmer and a fruit peddler, Grandpa understood how important good produce was to a community.
